CONDITIONS FOR IMPORTING GOODS IN VANS

Before arriving at the port of Marseille, every van (professional or private) must submit a goods declaration, whether empty or loaded (at least, declaration of personal effects).

Passenger Information

  • CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS TO THE PORT OF MARSEILLEYou must have your travel documents to enter (a valid passport for all passengers including children and infants, vehicle papers, reservation ticket).
  • VEHICLE ACCESSAny passenger with a vehicle entering through Gate 3B must have a valid ticket for the day showing Name/Surname/Registration number; otherwise, the port security service will not allow entry into the port area.
  • LUGGAGE FOR FOOT PASSENGERSAs the baggage porter service is no longer offered from Marseille, please comply with the following conditions regarding luggage transport for foot passengers:

    2 pieces of luggage and 1 backpack (or handbag) are allowed per passenger over 10 years old.
    For passengers under 10 years old, 1 backpack or 1 child-sized bag is accepted.
    These must be carried entirely independently without back-and-forth trips on the boarding circuit.
    Any additional luggage will not be permitted.
    Failure to comply with these conditions will result in refusal to board.

    Luggage must be labelled with: Name, Surname, Ship, Departure Date, Reservation Number, numbering (example: 1/3 – 2/3 – 3/3).
